About Utiio

Utiio is a free toolkit of calculators, converters, and everyday utilities — built to give you instant answers without clutter, accounts, or uploads.

Who’s behind it

I’m Josh. I built Utiio independently as a place to keep the calculators I kept needing — percentages, VAT, mortgages, DIY quantities, developer utilities — without accounts, pop-up mazes, or sending your numbers to a server just to get a result.

I write the tool explanations and the longer guides so you can see the method, not only the output. I’m not a solicitor, mortgage broker, tax adviser, or clinician. Where a number could affect money or health, the page says to confirm with an official source or a qualified professional. How the maths is chosen is spelled out on how we calculate.

Why Utiio exists

Most everyday maths problems are simple — percentages, VAT, loan payments, unit conversions, word counts — but hunting for a clear, trustworthy tool still wastes time. Utiio brings those utilities together in one place, with a consistent layout and plain-English explanations so you can get an answer and understand it.

We focus on tools people actually search for: finance and tax helpers, health estimates, DIY quantities, developer utilities, and everyday converters. Each page is designed to load fast, work on mobile, and stay useful the first time you open it.

What we build

From percentage and mortgage maths to time zones, DIY quantities, developer utilities, and health estimates — each tool is designed to be fast, readable, and useful straight away. Where it helps, we add quick tips, an in-depth explanation, FAQs, and a longer guide.
